In Roquebrune-sur-Argens as in Saint-Antonin du Var, Lorgues or Ramatuelle, you will have the privilege of tasting delicious white, red or rosé wines. In addition to wine tasting, some châteaux offer a visit to the estate's cellar and even a participation in the harvest.
In Lorgues, on a 118 ha vineyard set in a 500 ha forest, at the heart of the Provence vineyards, the Château de Berne offers exceptional wines with character. The estate produces red and white wine, rosé wine but also sparkling wine. You can make a guided tour through the estate and taste the wine, or participate in a day’s harvesting.
The Domaine la Bouverie is located in Roquebrune-sur-Argens, at the heart of a 30 ha vineyard. The estate is located on a site known by the romans, around a traditional sheep pen, and is open to the public (with reservation), to taste the rosé and red wines of the Provence.
The vineyard of Château Font du Broc is set 110 metres high, facing the sea in Les Arcs, on a 100 ha estate built in ‘restanques’ (like terraces), thirty of which are planted with vines. The Syrah grape, the Grenache, the Cabernet Sauvigon and the Rolle grapes are grown here, to produce red and rosé wines. The estate is open to the public.
This 17th century castle is set between the hills of the Provence, in Lorgues, hidden in a thick forest, surrounded by vineyards that spread on the hills. This vineyard covers 55 ha and mainly produces rosé and red wines with an AOC Côte de Provence. But it also produces white wine and sparkling wine. The estate can be visited.
Les Treilles de Saint-Antonin is the smallest wine cooperative of the Var. At the heart of the village Saint-Antonin-du-Var, 50 ha of vines is cultivated, to produce a rosé AOC Côtes de Provence and a red wine. The cellars are open to the public, to taste the wines.
In Roquebrune-sur-Argens the Domaine de Marchandise is set on a traditional farm in an exceptional environment, at the foot of the Roquebrune rock. Since 40 years, a delicious rosé wine is made here, based on 4 different grapes. Recently, the estate has started to produce a red AOC Côte de Provence. From Monday to Friday, you can visit thee state and taste the wines.
In the idyllic setting of the peninsula of Saint-Tropez, the vineyard of the Château de Minuty spreads over 7 ha of hills between Gassin and Ramatuelle. In this area, the Grenache grape is the main grape for rosé wines, but the Syrah and Mourvède grapes also offer a few red wines. The estate’s cellar welcomes visitors to discover the wines of the castle.
The wine tradition on the estate of Château Sainte-Roseline goes back 700 years. This castle is set at the heart of the Côtes de Provence, in the Var, and was built on the site of a former abbey. It counts 108 ha of vines to produce red, rosé and white wines. Some of these wines carry the label of "Cru Classé". The estate produces 35% of red wine, which is quite rare for a Provençal wine estate. In this hilly area, you’ll find several grapes like the Syrah, the Grenache and the Cabernet Sauvignon.
